RMPI supported the JNU Students’ struggle

From Head Office Jalandhar, 24^th Oct – Revolutionary Marxist Party Of India (RMPI) extended all kinds of support to the struggling JNU students under the banner of JNUSU. In a communique, released by General Secretary Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla, the party demanded that the missing JNU student Nazib must be traced immediately. He also demanded that ABVP goons responsible for brutally beating up Nazib, must be arrested and appropriate action must be taken against them. Com Pasla suspected that RSS, BJP Govt, University administration through utilizing ABVP are weaving a new conspiracy against JNU and the students. He said that it seems that the saffron brigade irritated from the white wash of ABVP during JNU students election and that’s why they are initiating a new offensive as a revenge of defeat. He called upon all secular, democratic, progressive forces to support  the genuine struggle of JNU students. Com Mangat Ram Pasla condemned the Modi government’s repression upon students struggle.

Rally was organised on the issues of land, water, employment and sustainable development in Maharashtra

From Maharashtra - RMPI and Marxist Vichar Manch Rally held on 7th October 2016 at Subdivisional Revenue Office, Vasai Sub Division, taluk Vasai, dist Palghar, Maharashtra.

10th October is observed as martyr's day in Thane and Palghar districts. In the year 1944, at the time of Varali struggle, five adivasis were killed in police firing. To remember their martyrdom, every year this day is widely celebrated by the Godavari Parulekar Marxist Vichar Manch.
This year a rally was organised on the issues of land - water - employment and sustainable development. Project affected peoples of various governmental projects were also joined this Rally. Mainly the people whose home and land was acquired for Mumbai Delhi rail freight corridor were participated in this Rally.
