Marxist Party of India (RMPI)has strongly condemned the ghastly murder of
famous journalist Gauri Lankesh at her residence in Bengluru yesterday. Comrade
Mangat Ram Pasla, General Secretary of Party in a statement issued here has
stated that after the similar murders of Dabholkar, Pansare and Kulburgi this
cowardly act is another attack on the rational democratic values and thought.
Gauri was a bold writer against the savegary being enacted by the communal
fascist forces in the country and she has been receiving threats to her life
from such anti-people brutes.

Pasla further stated that such barbaric crimes of these hitlarite elements
cannot gag the voice of truth and tolerance in our great country. He urged upon
all the democratic, secular and patriotic forces to condemn this heinous crime
and to come forward for a united struggle against this communal fascist
offensive.
