Jalandhar : Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI)
has strongly criticized the budget, presented in the Lok Sabha, by
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman.
Com K. Gangadharan and Com. Mangat Ram Pasla, Chairman and General
Secretary respectively of the party, through a press communique,
stated that this budget, reflects the pro corporate agenda of Modi 2.o
regime, implemented in the last tenure (2014-19) as well. Both the
leaders said that there is nothing for the toiling masses, especially
labourers, landless and poor peasants and a big part of middle class in
this budget.
They said that increase in the rates of petroleum
products i.e. petrol - diesel etc in this budget will cause higher price
rise.
Com. Gangadharan and Com.
Pasla further stated that the budget totally ignored the recession
facing our agriculture and small scale industries and as a result, it is
sure that this will not be able to deal with highest ever
unemployment, the biggest issue of today's India. While announcing a
strong opposition of this anti people budget on behalf of the party,
they called upon the toiling masses to come in the streets and reject
the pro rich budget.
