Hyderabad; September 23 - The joint meeting of Central
Committees of Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) and Marxist Communist
Party of India –United (MCPI-U) held at here. The meeting was presided over by
Comrade K. Gangadharan (Chairman RMPI) and Comrade Mohinder Singh Neh (Polit
Bureau Member of MCPI-U). Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla (General Secretary RMPI) and
Comrade Muhammad Gauns (General Secretary MCPI-U) addressed the joint meeting.
The meeting decided to launch a nationwide
struggle against the communal and divisive agenda of Modi Govt dictated by RSS
and the pro-corporate, anti-people, neo-liberal policies pursued by the
reactionary Modi regime.
The meeting
decided to make all efforts to unite the toiling masses for the struggle to
save the secular, democratic and federal structure of India, which is under
grim threat under Modi-Shah administration.
It was
decided that the Standing Committee and Polit Bureau of RMPI and MCPI-U shall meet
jointly in future so that a united understanding and intervention of both
parties may possible in the present dangerous situation created by Communal
Fascist outfits led by RSS.
It was also
decided that both the parties shall take the initiative to establish the joint
national organisations of Trade Unions, Peasants, Youth and Women fronts as
soon as possible. A joint national convention will be called at Channai on
December 15 this year.
